Saturday 23rd September 9.30am-3pm Quiet Day. ‘Francis of Assisi & Pope Francis of Rome: a new Springtime for the Church’ at Mary Potter Community Centre, suggested koha $10.00.
Leader: Sr Eleanor Capper rsj. BYO lunch; drinks & morning tea provided. Come for the whole time or as much as you are able. And yes, do go off and vote – we set this date before the election was set!

Tuesday 26th September 7pm ‘How to achieve an ethical & compassionate society’ speakers: Dr Narendranath Reddy, Neville Fredericks, Richard Wallis, President Sathya Sai International – Christchurch. At Knox Centre.
Anglican Missions Spring Appeal 3 projects: Diocesan Boys Hostel, Pakistan; Margaret Poynton, administrator, Papua New Guinea; Miriam Tillman, pharmacist, Togo, W Africa. If you’d like to support this appeal, please put money or cheque made out to St Luke’s in an envelope labelled Spring Appeal and hand in with our offertory. This appeal is counted in our Parish Mission Target. Unless specified, your donation will be split between all three projects. Thank you for supporting our world church partners.
